Small Town Fun

I dreamt the other night that Bryce and I were in the Sugar-Salem gym for like an assembly - but it was kinda like a reunion. There were all these people there from my graduating class and few others. I was sitting with Bryce and one of my guy friends came in. I was happy to see him so I ran over to him and hugged him. He hugged me kinda hard and long - so when I pulled away and looked at him, he was sad. So I tried to ask when his wife was coming and help him feel better. Then I went back to Bryce and my friend Angie and her husband came in and sat by me. She was criticizing everything and everyone. There were four tables on the floor of food demonstrations that were supposed to be our snack or something. One lady came up to let someone behind me try a snack and her butt was right next to my head - awkward. Then I noticed that one of the tables was from McDonalds and they were giving out cold, greasy, old fries and demonstrating how to properly cut bread. Several people were struggling with cutting the bread. Bryce was having the time of his life! He was just smiling and laughing at how "small town" this all was.

Water Therapy

I was working in some type of hospital, where the patients were unable to move or really speak. I was assisting a man give therapy to five patients. He had each of the patients together in a pool of water, with their heads just above the water line. Each patient had a monitor on them, all with green lights. The man said that he was going to begin the therapy and flipped a switch. He explained the new technique was streaming violin music through the water to invigorate the nerves in the patients.

Almost as soon as the music began, the faces of the patients became strained. I noticed some of the monitor lights were changing from green to yellow, some to orange. I tried to tell the man to stop, especially now that the faces were becoming more agonized, but he waved me off. Three of the patients monitors went to red, then black. I knew that those patients had just died.

The man turned the machine off and was faced with me and the two remaining live patients. He said he wouldn't risk having the two remaining patients turn on him, so he shot and killed them. The man told me that I was to speak of this to no one. He put the bodies in boxes and took them to a storage room, full of the same type of boxes.

I was so worried about the man coming after me, but also fearing him doing the same to other patients, so I told Jeff what had happened. He suggested we get the boxes, hide them, hide ourselves, then turn the man in. We snuck into the hospital, took the boxes back to our house and hid them behind our bed. The man then came to our house to talk to us about something unrelated. He was making small talk with Jeff, then Jeff said we had to leave. We left, but for some reason, the man stayed at our house.

In another neighborhood, we ran into some girls from my home town. Sarah S. was one of them and she mentioned she really wanted some corn dogs. We tried to find some for her, but didn't have any luck. Sarah then came out of her house to tell us she found a place in Lehi that was selling some corn dogs on eBay. She was really excited to go get them. But for some reason, I knew that the house was were the man was, and she was in great danger if she went. I tried to convince her not to go, but I wasn't fast enough to catch up to her. At that moment, the S. family dog crawled under me and stood up (indicating that I should ride the dog to catch up to Sarah). The dog started to run and that's when I woke up.

Becoming a Vampire in Santa Fe, Austria

I decided to take a walk one evening with my friend Christen. We started down Jaguar Drive, toward Bettie's house in Santa Fe. We were both dressed ridiculously, in baggy sweats and old school Nike's. I told Christen we shouldn't turn left on the upcoming street, because there was a big dog living on that street and it scared me last time I took a walk. Then I remembered I was wrong on the location, we were still a ways from Bettie's, hadn't even walked down into the ravine and back up to where Bets lives.

We walked a little further and then Christen wanted to head left, taking me on a new trail. I was hesitant because it wasn't the one I ran before with Bettie...and it was swampy, with a river very nearby. The trail itself was planks of wood, about 6 inches across, with ropes for handrails. The ropes were very low, however, and grabbing hold would require bending down. The other option was balancing carefully and not getting in the water, which was dirty and filled with yuck. Christen took off on it, so I followed her.

There were sections of the trail that were like crude tree houses, to climb through when the water was too high. There were people I didn't recognize in those little huts, encouraging us to keep going. The last part of the trail was a simple rope across the river, with a few people already in the river crossing it. Christen jumped in and started across. She yelled that it was safe, but I didn't want to get wet. On the other side of the bank, all the finishers were given drinks. Those drinks were glasses of vampire blood and it finally made sense who and what those "encouragers" were along the trail.

Christen drank up and was now a vampire. I turned around to leave and was in Austria. A small, old woman was taking me on a tour of a temple. It was all very beautiful and she said she was going to take me to a special room. The room was huge, with a pile of broken glass in the middle. There were several people looking over the glass and said that all the pieces were sacred stones from a variety of religious events throughout the history of the world. And when a new temple was built, a piece of these stones would be added to the foundation of the new temple.

I left the big room of the temple and saw a small cafe, serving coffee. I thought it was very strange to be serving coffee in a temple. The ladies locker room was next door to the cafe, so I went inside. And that's when I woke up.

Don't Eat Me King Kong!

This is a dream I do not remember...but still get teased about it to this day.

Sleepover, girlfriends, 13 years old...I guess I said,

"Don't eat me King Kong!"

in my sleep.

I wish I could remember that one...sounds like it was action packed.
